New York Knicks guard Evan Fournier could be seeking a trade this offseason.

Former Orlando Magic shooting guard Evan Fournier is looking for a new team.

After the New York Knicks' season ended on Friday at the hands of the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, the Frenchman spoke with the New York Post about his future.

“There’s no way they’re going to keep me. I would be very surprised if they did," Fournier said, per Brian Lewis of the New York Post. "My season has been over for a very long time, actually. This officially is the end, but my season was over a long time ago. It took me a good month to understand that.

"At first, I was like, just be patient in seeing how the team developed. Obviously, there are gonna be changes and I’m gonna get traded.”

Fournier didn't play much for the Knicks this season, especially down the stretch. He made just 27 appearances for the team this year, four of which came in April when New York's games lost relevancy. Fournier is two years into a four-year, $73 million contract he signed with the Knicks back in 2021, but New York could look for a new home for Fournier.

The Magic has cap space that it can use to take on Fournier's contract, and Orlando could use shooters. However, it seems unlikely that the Magic would take another crack at Fournier two years after the team traded him.
