The Magic will have five players representing the team at the FIBA World Cup when it begins on Aug. 25.

The Orlando Magic will be heavily represented when the FIBA World Cup rolls around on Aug. 25. The Magic have five players playing in the tournament for four different countries. 

Here's a comprehensive guide on all things Orlando for the first round of the group stage of the FIBA World Cup...

Team USA

Team USA's roster features perhaps the most well-known Magic player in the tournament. Defending Rookie of the Year Paolo Banchero will be sporting the stars and stripes during the World Cup. Banchero made the decision to play for Team USA over Team Italy this summer, as he had eligibility for both.

Germany

Germany is the only team in the tournament with more than one Orlando player playing for them. Magic forwards Franz Wagner and Moritz Wagner will both be representing Germany in the World Cup. The two brothers were both born in Berlin, Germany and have represented their home country at other tournaments in the past.

Georgia

Georgia will be making its first ever appearance at the FIBA World Cup this year. Representing the country in its inaugural World Cup run will be Orlando center Goga Bitadze. Bitadze was drafted by the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft and joined the Magic in 2023 after Indiana waived him.

Australia

Orlando's most expensive free agent signing of 2023 will be playing for Australia this World Cup. Forward Joe Ingles has played for the Boomers at the FIBA World Cup every tournament since 2010. He signed with the Magic this offseason on a two-year $22 million contract.

Others: 

Former Orlando center Nikola Vucevic will be playing for Montenegro in the tournament. He spent nine seasons with the Magic, making two All-Star appearances. 

Evan Fournier spent the middle seven seasons of his career with Orlando. He will be representing France in the World Cup.
