Magic 'Grind It Out' in Win vs. Bulls

The Orlando Magic picked up a massive win against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night.

ORLANDO - The Orlando Magic are still on top after a 114-108 overtime win against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night at the Kia Center.

The win came after the Magic allowed just 22 points in the fourth quarter and overtime ... a defensive push led by Jonathan Isaac, who played 25 minutes in a game for the first time since Dec. 30, 2019.

The win, and the nature in how it materialized, had the Magic fired up after the game.

"Everybody's happy," Isaac said about the locker room after the game. "And just games like that when you know that you you didn't just win but you took it, you grinded it out down to the final minutes and you find a way to win those games that really mean something. So we'll carry that into our next game is well."

The Magic have often been on the wrong end of comebacks this season, but to pull one out at home against the Chicago Bulls, who also find themselves in the Play-In portion of the standings, is massive in terms of the overall scheme of the season. While this will only count as one in the win column, the impact it has could make this win more valuable than most.

The Magic are off for the next two days, but they will be back in action at home on Tuesday when the Oklahoma City Thunder come to town. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
