Orlando Magic Looks to 'Keep Its Chances Alive' in Tournament, Says Cole Anthony

The Orlando Magic plays the Chicago Bulls for the second time in three days tonight, but this time it means just a little bit more.
In this story:

The Orlando Magic won its last game against the Chicago Bulls in dramatic fashion, as the game went down to the wire and saw Paolo Banchero being the hero.

The Magic won 96-94 against a Bulls team who has not looked the best to start the season, and Banchero said that he would have liked to "save the dramatics" and just win in commanding fashion.

But no matter how good or bad the Bulls have been to start the year, one of the hardest things to do in the NBA is beat a team two times in a row, and that is exactly what the Magic has to do tonight. Cole Anthony talked about facing a team twice in a row in his postgame interview on Wednesday.

"It's always hard to beat a team two times in a row, especially in the NBA," Anthony said. "We're going to have to come really locked in and prepared on Friday. Lost that first game in the In-Season Tournament so this game will be big for us in order to keep our chances alive."

This game against the Bulls means a bit more than Wednesday's game, as this one has In-Season Tournament implications. And as we have seen, a lot of the Magic's players are not taking the tournament lightly, and will do whatever it takes to win the new regular season tournament.

The Magic will look to win this game against the Bulls in more commanding fashion than Wednesday, as the team will look to prove that it is a threat in the tournament. Tipoff tonight is at 8 p.m. ET from the United Center.
