The Orlando Magic has just five games remaining in its season, and if the team can put together a late win streak, then it could be in great position for the playoffs.

The team had won three games in a row before its recent loss to the Charlotte Hornets, and if the team wants to move up in the standings, it needs to play its best basketball the next few games. Magic guard Markelle Fultz talked about what the team needs to do in its next game in a recent interview.

"The Magic standard is just playing hard together, competing on both ends of the floor for a full 48 minutes," Fultz said. "It’s going to take that for the next couple of games, especially getting ourselves prepared for playoffs."

The team is currently tied with the New York Knicks, and are half a game behind the third place Cleveland Cavaliers. It is also just two games behind the second place Milwaukee Bucks, and they have lost their last three games.

If the team is able to improve and put together a win streak in its last five games of the season, then it could take some momentum into the team's first postseason since 2020.

The Magic will be back in action tonight at home against DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. ET from the Kia Center.
