The Orlando Magic is currently sitting in fifth place in the Eastern Conference, which means that playoffs are the next step for the young team.

And since the Magic is such a youthful group, many of the players will be competing in their very first postseason. Memphis Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins talked briefly about what the first time in the playoffs is like in his postgame interview.

"Getting that first taste of the playoffs is a one-time thing, you only get your first time," Jenkins said. "You try to prepare all season long, but it's a different ball game come playoff time."

The Magic is currently just a game behind the fourh place New York Knicks, so if the team gets hot in these last few games of the regular season, then it could move up to the four, or even three-seed. On the flip side of that, the team is only 1.5 games ahead of the Indiana Pacers, so it needs to not get complacent.

But with how guys like Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner have been playing this season, then the team could be in a great position to surprise a lot of people when the playoffs do eventually roll around.

The Magic will be looking to continue its great season in its next game against Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. ET from the Smoothie King Center.
