From there, the Magic hit the foot on the gas in the second half, racing out to a lead as large as 25 points.

The Magic had a chance to clinch a playoff spot in each of the three games on its previous road trip, but it took the final game and the home crowd behind them to finish the job.

Paolo Banchero led all scorers with 26 points, while Franz Wagner was right behind him with 25. Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis were the high scorers for the Bucks with 17, and Damian Lillard came right behind them with 16.

The win, mixed in with the results throughout the rest of the NBA, clinched the Magic the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference. The team will face off against the Cleveland Cavaliers after their loss this afternoon at home to the Charlotte Hornets. Game 1 of the opening round series will take place either Saturday or Sunday.
