Orlando Magic 'Doing What Needs to Be Done', Says Jalen Suggs
The Orlando Magic is wrapping up a road trip where the team saw some good, some bad and some ugly.
But the Magic is leaving the west coast with a 2-2 record after wins against the Portland Trail Blazers and Utah Jazz and losses against the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers.
In those losses, the Magic struggled to shoot, especially with an outing on Tuesday against the Clippers where no player scored more than 15 points.
Despite these struggles shooting the basketball, the Magic was able to move the ball well, but the shots that the team got just didn't drop. Jalen Suggs spoke more about how he felt the team did in a postgame press conference after the game against the Clippers on Tuesday night.
"I think that we're doing a great job and we're doing what needs to be done," Suggs said. "We're doing the hard part, now we just have to knock down the shots. And that's going to come with continued reps...That's all it is, continuing to play the right way, and not allowing this to make us think we have to make some big shift and stop doing what we're doing, because it's leading to good things, we just have to execute and finish."
Suggs and the rest of the Magic will have another chance to show that the offense will come with time tomorrow at home in a rematch against the Lakers. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET inside the Amway Center.
