Magic Starting 5: James Borrego, Willie Green Reunite with Pelicans

1. JAMES BORREGO & WILLIE GREEN IN NOLA

"Borrego went 10-20 in the final 30 games of the 2014-15 campaign for a Magic team that had a lot of young pieces, many of whom are still thriving in the NBA. But the team also had some veterans to mentor the young guys, including Willie Green, who just hired Borrego to be his lead assistant."

2. HEAT WINS NBA FINALS GAME 2

The Denver Nuggets won't be going for a sweep in the NBA Finals after losing to the Miami Heat in Game 2 Sunday night.

Nikola Jokic scored 41 for the Nuggets, but Gabe Vincent, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo each scored 20+ to give the Heat the win.

4. NEW TEAM USA STARS

"[Jalen] Brunson is said to be joined by former Knick Bobby Portis (Milwaukee), ex-Villanova teammate Mikal Bridges (Brooklyn), All-Stars Anthony Edwards (Minnesota) and Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana), as well as recent postseason hero Austin Reaves (LA Lakers)."

5. DRAFT COUNTDOWN

The Orlando Magic is 17 days away from the 2023 NBA Draft, where the team will welcome the newest members of the franchise.

Coverage begins on June 22 at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
