In this story:

1. MAGIC MOCK DRAFT

"The Ringer recently drew up its final pre-lottery NBA Mock Draft and had Orlando selecting at the No. 7 and No. 11 spots."

2. GRANT HILL FOR SENATE?

Grant Hill has been retired from playing for a decade, but a friend of his believes he could have a career in politics.

“A beloved celebrity makes a much better candidate than some political hack, especially when as smart and charismatic as Grant,” attorney John Morgan told the Orlando Sentinel. “And he transcends politics.”

However, Morgan also said that he spoke with Hill, who says he "isn't ready" right now.

3. KNICKS VS. HEAT GAME 6

"In what had become one of the more surprisingly lopsided series, the New York Knicks were able to avoid elimination on Wednesday night with their 112-103 Game 5 win over the Miami Heat. They still trail 3-2 in this series, so they’ll need to force a Game 7 come Friday night to keep their season alive."

Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST on ESPN.

4. LAKERS' ANTHONY DAVIS STATUS UP IN AIR FOR GAME 6

"NBA sources inform Chris Haynes of TNT that the Lakers anticipate Davis should be able to suit up for LA in a possible closeout game Friday, assuming he doesn't suffer any setbacks."

Tipoff is scheduled for 10 p.m. EST on ESPN.

5. NBA DRAFT LOTTERY COUNTDOWN

The Magic is four days away from the NBA Draft Lottery, where it will be revealed if Orlando will have the opportunity to take Victor Wembanyama with the No. 1 overall pick.
