ORLANDO - The longest-tenured member of the Orlando Magic is no longer.

Over the weekend, Terrence Ross and the Magic agreed to a buyout after seven seasons with the team and agreed to a contract with the Phoenix Suns.

Following the announcement, Ross posted a goodbye video on social media thanking the city and Magic fans.

"Orlando, thank you for everything," Ross said in a Twitter video. Thank you for embracing me, accepting me, supporting me, thank you for everything man. It's been a crazy seven years. This will always be home to me."

Orlando may always be home for Ross, but for the next few months, he'll call Phoenix home, hoping to win a championship with the Suns alongside fellow new acquisition Kevin Durant.

The Suns acquired Durant from the Brooklyn Nets for Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and four future first-round picks. With the lack of wings in Phoenix after the trade, Ross will have the opportunity to contribute for a contender for the first time since the Toronto Raptors made the Eastern Conference Finals in 2016. But Ross won't forget the Magic while he's exploring his new opportunity.

"I'm excited for what's to come and I know I wouldn't be here without the city of Orlando."
