Magic Makes Deficit Disappear Early in Win vs. Raptors

The Toronto Raptors grabbed a lead against the Orlando Magic, but it was short-lived.

ORLANDO - The Orlando Magic are heading home happy after a 113-103 win against the Toronto Raptors on Friday night at the Scotiabank Arena.

The Magic struggled to find their footing going into the game, falling into a nine-point deficit, but slowly but surely they were able to pull out of it.

By halftime, the Magic got the lead back and never gave it up. Orlando's lead grew to as much as 19 as they cruised to a win.

As they have done many times throughout the season, the Magic won by commitee. Six players scored in double figures, including Paolo Banchero, who scored 17 points with nine rebounds and eight assists. Franz Wagner led the Magic with 19 points.

For the Raptors, Gary Trent Jr. scored a game-high 31 points.

The Magic and Raptors are back in action on Sunday night when the two teams meet for a rematch at the Kia Center. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. ET.
