Magic Win Streak Snapped in Blowout Loss vs. Knicks

The New York Knicks took care of business against the Orlando Magic.

ORLANDO - The Orlando Magic are back in the loss column after falling 98-74 to the New York Knicks on Friday night at Madison Square Garden.

It was a season-low in scoring for the Magic, who struggled shooting the ball all night long. The team shot under 35 percent from the field in the loss.

Paolo Banchero scored 23 points, but the rest of the team failed to deliver in the scoring department.

The Knicks were led by Jalen Brunson with a game-high 26 points, while Precious Achiuwa recorded a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds.

The loss for the Magic moves them behind the Knicks in the standings, but as Orlando returns home, the team will play 10 of the next 11 games at the Kia Center.

The Magic will have ample opportunity to get back in front of the Knicks and move up the standings, but tonight is an opportunity missed in the final head-to-head battle with a potential playoff foe.

The Magic returns to the floor on Sunday when the Indiana Pacers come to town. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. ET.
