ORLANDO - The Orlando Magic are in need of some 3-point shooting.

The team currently ranks last in the league in 3-point percentage, which isn't a good recipe if you want to be successful in the NBA.

Bleacher Report suggests a trade that helps that number out, acquiring Bojan Bogdanovic from the Detroit Pistons for Joe Ingles, rookie Jett Howard and a 2025 first-round pick.

"While the Magic are clearly a team on the rise, there's a cap on how high they can climb without fixing their 24th-ranked offense," Bleacher Report writes. "Their three-point shooting is abysmal, and they need more support scoring around Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner. Bogdanović would check both boxes without putting too big of a dent into the club's asset collection."

It's a hefty price for the Magic, giving up a future first and essentially another one in seldom-used Jett Howard, but one that could be worth it.

Bogdanovic, who turns 35 in April, is averaging over 20 points per game this season for the Pistons, and he shoots over 41 percent from distance. That would certainly help Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner space the floor and give the Magic a shooting threat from outside.

The Pistons are the league's worst team, so they should be listening to any offers on Bogdanovic, even if they prefer not to move him. Bogdanovic has a partial guarantee on his contract for the 2024-25 season, but it becomes fully guaranteed if he's still on the roster by the end of the league year in June.

This means you're essentially getting two years of Bogdanovic, who provides some much-needed skills for the Magic. Is it worth the price above? That's a question for the Magic front office to answer.

The NBA Trade Deadline is set for Thursday at 3 p.m. ET. But before that, the Magic visits the Pistons at Little Caesars Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET on Sunday.
