Dallas Mavs Top 3 Betting Picks vs. Los Angeles Lakers: Luka Doncic, LeBron James Go Head-to-Head
Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks are home to host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.
The Mavs are fresh off holding off the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night, 120-113. Doncic led the way with 35 points, eight rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks while rookie Dereck Lively II finished with 16 points and tying a career-high 16 rebounds.
The Lakers are coming off winning the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament on Saturday, defeating the Indiana Pacers, 123-109. Anthony Davis dominated down low, finishing with a season-high 41 points, 20 rebounds, five assists, and four blocks in the win.
Going into Tuesday night's matchup, Dallas will likely be without Kyrie Irving (right foot), Josh Green (right elbow), and Maxi Kleber (right small toe) while Grant Williams (knee), Derrick Jones Jr. (quadriceps), and Tim Hardaway Jr. (back spasms) are questionable. For the Lakers, James (left calf), Davis (left adductor), and Jarred Vanderbilt (low back) are questionable while Gabe Vincent (left knee) is out.

Player Props / Our Picks
Luka Doncic O/U 34.5 Points: Under
Despite Doncic being on a roll, averaging 36.8 points over the last five games, he faces an above average defense, who is clicking on all cylinders after their run in the IST. The Lakers haven't allowed a single opponent to score above 34 points in the last 16 games. And with Doncic and the Mavs on the second night of a back-to-back, take the under.
Luka Doncic O/U 1.5 Steals + Blocks: Over
Over the last eight games, Doncic is averaging 1.9 steals and 0.9 blocks per game, including only two games with under two steals. Look for Doncic to continue his streak of steals.
Anthony Davis O/U 13.5 Rebounds: Over
Davis is coming off a dominant performance in the NBA Cup championship, finishing with 41 points and 20 rebounds. Over the last six games, Davis is averaging 15.6 rebounds per game. Take the over.
Prediction: With the Mavericks being undermanned and on the second night of a back-t0-back while the Lakers are on two days rest and riding the momentum from their IST championship, take Los Angeles -1.5 on the road.
