DALLAS — The NBA announced Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic as February's Western Conference Player of the Month, marking his fourth time receiving this honor. Doncic's previous instances of receiving the award include November 2019, February 2022, and December 2022. Only Dirk Nowitzki (six) has earned more of these honors in Mavs history.

During February, Doncic led the Mavs to an 8-3 record, averaging 33.4 points, 10.3 assists, 9.6 rebounds, and 1.8 steals in 37.2 minutes per game. He shot 51.7 percent from the field and 39.8 percent from beyond the arc. He achieved three performances, scoring 40 or more points, scored 35 points five times, and had eight 30-point games out of his 11 overall performances.

The Slovenian superstar helped guide the Mavs to a seven-game winning streak during this period, equaling their longest winning streak since the 2010-11 championship season. His performances from February 5 to 11 led Dallas to four victories with averages of 31.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, 8.0 assists, and 1.8 steals per game, resulting in a Western Conference Player of the Week nomination.

On February 6, in a game against the Brooklyn Nets, Doncic scored 35 points, grabbed a season-high 18 rebounds, and added nine assists, making him the first NBA player to reach such a stat line with one or fewer turnovers. He nearly achieved a 40-point triple-double against the Phoenix Suns on February 22, finishing the game with 41 points, nine rebounds, and 11 assists.

Doncic celebrated his 25th birthday with a historic performance on February 28 against Toronto, scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds, and 16 assists. This made him the first player to record a 30-point triple-double on his birthday.

Leading the NBA in 35-point games (25), 40-point efforts (12), and various triple-double categories, Doncic has set multiple records. He is the first in the franchise to record three consecutive triple-doubles and joins an elite group of players in NBA history with such a streak of 30-point triple-doubles.
