In this story:

Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks hit the road to take on Anfernee Simons and the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night.

The Mavs' four-game winning streak came to an end on Thursday night, falling to the Minnesota Timberwolves, 119-101. Despite Doncic's 39-point effort, it was Naz Reid who led the T-Wolves to victory with a season-high 27 points off the bench.

The Trail Blazers are coming off their fifth straight loss on Thursday to the Utah Jazz, 122-114. Rookie Scoot Henderson scored a career-high 23 points and notched his first career double-double with 10 assists but it wasn't enough to outlast the Jazz.

Notable Injury Report

Mavericks: Seth Curry (illness) is questionable. Kyrie Irving (right heel contusion), Josh Green (right elbow sprain), and Maxi Kleber (right small toe dislocation) are out.

Trail Blazers: Jerami Grant (concussion protocol) is probable.

Player Props / Our Picks

Luka Doncic O/U 33.5 Points: Over

Doncic has been on an absolute scoring tear as of late, averaging 36.6 over the last seven games, including two 40-point performances. With Irving still nursing his right foot injury, look for No. 77 to continue his dominance against the frail Portland team on Saturday.

Dante Exum O/U 9.5 Rebounds + Assists: Over

The resurrection of Dante Exum seems to be real, ladies and gents. Exum has been a pretty crucial member of Jason Kidd's rotation over the last week and change. Over the last five games, which are all starts, Exum is averaging 16.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists. Again, with Irving still out of the lineup, take the over for Exum's extended minutes.

Dereck Lively II O/U 1.5 Blocks: Over

On the season, Lively is averaging 1.6 blocks per game but over the last eight games, is blocking 2.6 shots per night and rejecting more than one shot in seven of those eight games. Look for Lively to keep his streak alive tonight in Portland.

Prediction: Coming off their double-digit loss to Minnesota on Thursday night, look for Dallas to bounce back on the road against Portland. Take the Mavs -5.5.
