Mavs' Theo Pinson Hints at Big Things Coming for Dallas This Offseason

With a huge offseason ahead of them, the Dallas Mavericks might have some big plans already in place ... at least according to a cryptic tweet from a current Mavs player.
In this story:

There are just over two weeks remaining until the NBA Draft Lottery when the Dallas Mavericks will find out where their pick will land in the draft order this year. After following up a Western Conference Finals season with one where they didn't even qualify for the play-in tournament, the Mavs know that big changes must be made going forward.

Mavs small forward Theo Pinson, who is best known around the league for being an elite hype man, took to Twitter recently and hinted that he knows something big is coming for Dallas this offseason. In a response to a post asking fans to name the most "shocking" move the Mavs will make this summer, this is how Pinson responded:

That's quite the cryptic tweet from Pinson that doesn't tell us much of anything, but he's well connected and talks to a lot of people through his Run Your Race podcast, so we're sure he's heard some rumbles about what the Mavs might have in motion.

Mavs head coach Jason Kidd was blunt about his team's roster as soon as the season officially ended, saying, "a lot of people won't be back next season. There will be a lot of new faces." Perhaps Pinson already knows who some of those new faces are going to be.
