Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks hit the road to take on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night.

The Mavs are coming off their second consecutive loss on Sunday as they fell to the Sacramento Kings, 129-113. In the loss, Doncic led the way with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists as Dallas only had four players score in double figures.

The Lakers are fresh off a 131-99 blowout victory against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night as Los Angeles clinched Group A of the In-Season Tournament. Anthony Davis led the way for the Lakers with 26 points and 16 rebounds.

Following Tuesday night's win, former Mav Christian Wood was asked about facing his former team for the first time. "Knowing it's my former team, I definitely want to go at those guys," Wood said.

Going into Wednesday night's matchup, Seth Curry (right hip soreness) is questionable while Maxi Kleber (right toe) is out for his seventh straight game. For the Lakers, Cam Reddish (groin) is questionable while Jarred Vanderbilt (heel) and Gabe Vincent (knee) are out.

Player Props / Our Picks

Kyrie Irving O/U 31.5 Points + Assists: Over

Riding a two-game losing streak, the Mavs need to get back on track. And facing his former teammate in James and the Lakers tonight, expect Kyrie Irving to show up ready to play and get the Mavericks back on track. Take the over.

Luka Doncic O/U 7.5 Assists: Over

Doncic is averaging 8.1 assists on the season and 8.6 assists over the last three games. In a big game against a notable opponent, look for Doncic to attract a lot of attention from Laker defenders, providing him with more opportunities to create for his teammates.

LeBron James O/U 25.5 Points: Over

James got some additional rest on Tuesday night as he only played 24 minutes blowout win against the Utah Jazz. Prior to Tuesday, James had scored 37 points and 35 points in consecutive games. Look for James to continue his incredible play against the Mavericks.

Prediction: The Mavs have lost three of their last four while the Lakers have won six of their last seven games. With the Lakers on their second game of a back-to-back, Dallas has the slight edge when it comes to rest. And with the Mavs looking to avoid a three-game skid, take Dallas -2.5 in a close game.
