In this story:

Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks are back home to host Pascal Siakam and the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night.

The Mavs are coming off yet another comeback victory in the clutch on Monday, outlasting the Orlando Magic, 117-102. Dallas overcame a 15-point deficit in the second quarter with an offensive onslaught in the second half, outscoring Orlando 64-36 to earn their sixth win of the season.

The Raptors are coming off a 123-116 overtime win over the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday night. Toronto fought back from 15 points down to start the fourth quarter to force the extra period, led by Scottie Barnes' 30-point performance.

Going into Wednesday night's matchup, Maxi Kleber is questionable for Dallas with a right toe injury. For Toronto, Precious Achiuwa is questionable with a left groin sprain.

Player Props / Our Picks

Kyrie Irving O/U 6.5 Assists: Over

Through five games, Kyrie Irving is averaging 20.0 points and 7.8 assists per game, which would make for a career-high. Irving has posted two-straight games of 10 assists as he's counter-acted his slow start shooting from the floor to playmaking for his teammates. Take the over.

Kyrie Irving O/U 1.5 Turnovers: Over

Let's double up on Uncle Drew on Wednesday. On the season, Irving is averaging just two turnovers per game, compared to Doncic's five per game but we don't have to get into that here. Going up against a lengthy, disruptive defense in the Raptors, look for Toronto to force a few more turnovers than normal for Irving, despite hitting the over on assists.

Scottie Barnes O/U 29.5 Points + Rebounds: Over

Barnes is off to a spectacular start to the season, averaging 22.6 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game. After a disappointing sophomore campaign, it seems like Barnes is finally taking that leap to become a potential star in this league.

Prediction: The Raptors give up the fifth-least points per game so far this season along with the second-lowest field goal and 3-point percentage. Take Toronto +5.5 to cover the spread and slow down the Mavs' offense but Dallas to win yet another game in the clutch.
