Mavs Celebrate Women's History Month: Dallas VP Joins Upcoming DFW Panel

Mavs VP Khaliah Collier joins an all-star panel of women in DFW, sponsored by BEDGEAR and Nebraska Furniture Mart.

DALLAS - The Dallas Mavericks continue to celebrate Women’s History Month at an upcoming panel that will feature female leaders from different industries across the DFW metroplex for an insight into their current roles. Mavs Vice President and Chief of Staff of Basketball Operations Khaliah Collier will participate in "Empowered: Women Who Lead The Way Panel + Mixer."

Hired in 2022, Collier works in Dallas' front office with Cynt Marshall, the first Black woman CEO in the history of the NBA, General Manager Nico Harrison and Vice President of Basketball Operations Michael Finley.

BEDGEAR is sponsoring the event, which takes place on March 25 from 1-3 p.m. on The Lawn at Grandscape. Joining Collier will be five more panelists, including Nebraska Furniture Mart's Chief Human Resource Officer Megan Berry Barlow. The panel event is free to the public with an option to purchase a VIP ticket.

As the Mavs team travels to Los Angeles with a matchup with the Lakers as five-point underdogs, the organization continues to highlight the achievements of women who educate, encourage, uplift, and empower those around them.

Last week, an all-female ensemble produced the broadcast of Dallas vs. the New Orleans Pelicans. Beth Mowins and Doris Burke called the game, and more than 70 women contributed to the pregame and game coverage as: commentators, producers, directors, graphic designers, statisticians and social media operators.
