LeBron James Trade to Mavs? Dallas Is Betting Favorite to Get Lakers Legend

The wise guys want to you bet on Dallas Mavericks landing LeBron James and building a true "Big 3'' by of course also re-signing Kyrie Irving. ... and the bets are coming in.
In this story:

DALLAS - Forget for a moment whether the trade values add up - especially because when it comes to a power-broker star (and his power-broker agent) = that's not how NBA blockbuster trades happen.

Forget for a moment what LeBron James wants or what Kyrie Irving wants or even what Luka Doncic wants (though surely he wants to play on a team on which he's hammock'ed by two superstar pals) and let's just go to what the wise guys want ...

The wise guys want to you bet on Dallas Mavericks landing LeBron James and building a true "Big 3'' by of course also re-signing Irving. ... and the bets are coming in.

"We just started getting hammered on the Mavericks for LeBron's next team," said Robert Cooper, SportsBetting.ag sportsbook manager. "Of course, some of the sharper bettors had already seen these reports and decided to take positions at 10/1 odds and 8/1 odds, before we finally pulled them off the board at 3/1."

"These reports'' touches on an issue DallasBasketball.com has been discussing for months ... though the fact that the Los Angeles Lakers experienced postseason advancement while Luka and Kyrie's Mavs were in the NBA Lottery caused the talk to be sidelined for a time. But "these reports'' are back, with all of it adding up to Dallas sitting as a solid favorite (+120).

For the record, Cooper stated that he doesn't think there's "really much of a chance that LeBron leaves L.A." in preparation for the 2023-24 season. But to us, that doesn't mean the Mavs shouldn't try ... and of course the same goes for any other team that wants to employ the 38-year-old legend.

Along with the Mavs, other teams that have received action for James' next team are the Warriors, Heat and Suns. The Knicks opened this week as the favorite for James. And the way it's all now stacked?
