Luka Doncic Watch: Dallas Mavs Superstar Scores 30 First-Half Points; League Pass Alert!

Luka Doncic led the Dallas Mavericks with 30 points at halftime against the Portland Trail Blazers in what could be a career night.
In this story:

Luka Doncic has scored at least 30 points in each of his last nine games ... and tonight, make it 10, as he had 30 in the first half alone, something he's done nine times in his career.

In what has been a stellar performance for the Dallas Mavericks star, Doncic was 11-19 from the field (3-8 from three) in just 19 minutes played in the first half of Dallas' matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers. He racked up five rebounds and four assists in the process and is once again on triple-double watch.

After a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves took them off their five-game win streak just two days ago at home, Doncic seems intent on making that a one-time occurrence, leading the once again Kyrie Irving-less Mavs to a 74-63 lead at halftime.

A win to get back on track here for the Mavs would be a momentum builder going into their matchup in Denver Monday night, where they will face the defending champion Nuggets along with former finals MVP Nikola Jokic.

Averaging 32.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and 9.1 assists, Doncic has been on a tear this season, and now sits at fifth on the recent NBA MVP Ladder after leading this Mavs squad to an impressive 15-9 record this season, hoping to get win No. 16 tonight in Portland.

Behind Doncic tonight, Tim Hardaway Jr. has 13 to go along with the star's performance. Hardaway has been an integral piece to the Mavs success in the absence of Irving, and now sits as the Mavs second-leading scorer at halftime.

If you have NBA league pass, you might want to tune in for these remaining two quarters of Mavs-Blazers.
