‘Mark Cuban Hypnotized Me!’ Inside That Bizarre 2 A.M. Video; ‘I Hope He Gets Help,’ Billionaire Says
DALLAS - Billionaire Mark Cuban of the Dallas Mavs is at a high-profile point in his life when much is credited to him … and much is blamed on him …
Including, suddenly, a 2:20 a.m. door-knocking Massachusetts “victim” of Cuban’s mysterious skills as a hypnotist?
The bizarre front-porch video of a confused young man dressed in business attire with flip-flops has gone viral, all triggered by the man telling homeowner Pam Laliberte, “Sorry, I got hypnotized.”
The man continued, “Mark Cuban? He hypnotized me. And I just wanted to say I'm sorry. He literally hypnotized me. And, uh, yeah, Mark Cuban got me good."
The man eventually exited the porch, saying, “I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry to disturb you."
Mark Cuban was tagged in a Twitter post and he responded.
“No idea what is going on here," he wrote … and soon, the video had more than a million hits.
The theory going around Fall River? The man is confusing Mark Cuban of “Shark Tank” TV fame with Mark Patrick, a hypnotist who tours the country helping people to quit smoking.
It so happens that Patrick was that week making appearances in New England.
Cuban found a way to contact Laliberte and offered her family Mavs tickets, adding in a communication, “I hope the kid got help."
