Mark Cuban Offers 'A Cool $1 Million' to Dakota Johnson in 'SNL' 'Shark Tank' Skit
DALLAS - Once upon a time, Mark Cuban harbored aspirations to be a performer. And it is his innate acting talent - well, OK, also the fact that he's a billionaire! - that has allowed the Dallas Mavs owner to realize his dreams many times over ...
Most recently with a weekend appearance on "Saturday Night Live.''
In the skit, he shares the screen with "Shark Tank" co-star Barbara Corcoran as they make a cameo featuring actress Dakota Johnson.
She's got a bad T-shirt company idea. Her "genius" idea? T-shirt that reads, "Don't ask if I'm ok. I'm ok. But if everyone starts asking if I'm ok, I might start crying.''
That, Johnson claims, "distills the entire human experience into three sentences."
Her friends think she's silly. But the "Sharks'' share her vision, and Corcoran offers Johnson $500,000 to get in on the T-shirt company, followed by Cuban who steps up and offers a "cool million."
Cuban has been in the news lately both in a basketball sense and in a TV sense. The Mavs have involved billionaire Miriam Adelson.... in ownership, all part of transforming DFW into a casino/resort/entertainment destination.

Meanwhile, Cuban recently announced that he'll be leaving "Shark Tank'' after Season 16.
"It's time," Cuban said on a podcast last November. "I feel like in doing 'Shark Tank' all these years, we've trained a generation of entrepreneurs, multiple generations of entrepreneurs that if somebody can come from Iowa or Sacramento or wherever, and show up on the carpet of 'Shark Tank' and show their business and get a deal, it's going to inspire generations of kids."
And maybe, given Cuban's acting chops, he'll inspire kids to want to go on "SNL,'' too!
