Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks are home to host Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night.

The Mavs won their second straight game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday, 139-103. Kyrie Irving led the way for Dallas with Doncic out, finishing with 24 points, nine rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks. Jaden Hardy started in place of Doncic, having one of his best games of his career, finishing with 19 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists.

“I think when he’s off the ball and then he gets on the ball; his ability to score; then his ability to find guys, and he was at a high level this evening. Again, each time he’s taken the floor he’s gotten better," Jason Kidd said of Hardy's performance on Friday.

The Timberwolves are coming off a blowout win of their own on Friday, defeating the Houston Rockets, 122-95, to end a two-game skid. Minnesota ran away with the game in the fourth quarter, outscoring Houston 38-23, led by Edwards' 24 points.

Notable Injuries

Mavericks: Luka Doncic (right ankle swelling), Grant Williams (right ankle sprain), Markieff Morris (illness) and Richaun Holmes (personal reasons) are questionable. Dereck Lively II (left ankle sprain) is doubtful. Dante Exum (right plantar fascia) and Maxi Kleber (right small toe) are out.

Timberwolves: No notable injuries.

The Lines

Point Spread: Timberwolves (-2.5) / Mavericks (+2.5)

Money Line: Timberwolves (-143) / Mavericks (+115)

Over/Under: 231.5

Player Props / Our Picks

Luka Doncic O/U 8.5 Rebounds: Under

Though Doncic averages 8.3 rebounds per game on the season, he hasn't grabbed over eight boards in each of the last five games. With Minnesota allowing the third-lowest opponent rebounds per game with the likes of Gobert and Towns in the middle, take the under.

Luka Doncic, Dereck Lively II Headline Long Mavs Injury Report vs. Timberwolves

Karl-Anthony Towns O/U 22.5 Points: Over

Towns is averaging 24.3 points over his last three games and with Lively being listed as doubtful, the paint could open up and provide a lot of opportunities for Towns and Gobert. Take the over.

Rudy Gobert O/U 12.5 Rebounds: Over

Gobert ranks fourth in the league in rebounds per game with 11.9. And with Lively out for tonight's contest, Gobert should be able to own the glass and dominate the game in the paint.

Prediction: Though Dallas has won two straight games, they go head-to-head with the No. 1 team in the West, who has beaten them in both previous contests this season. With Lively doubtful, take Minnesota -2.5 on the road.
