WATCH: Mavs Star Kyrie Irving Throws Down Electric Alley-Oop vs. Nets
During the third quarter of the Dallas Mavericks' game against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night, Kyrie Irving came out looking like a player with something to prove, making his first trip back to Barclays Center since the Brooklyn traded him to Dallas last season.
With 10:08 remaining in the third quarter, Irving was surprisingly on the receiving end of an alley-oop from Josh Green to put the Mavs up 74-52, and it wowed the away crowd.
Unfortunately for Dallas, though, it seems that it had to sacrifice the team's overall offense in order for Irving to get his glorious dunk vs. Brooklyn. Over the next six minutes of action, the Nets went on an 17-6 run to climb to within 10 points.
