The NBA trade deadline is just three weeks away, and there is sure to be a lot of action as teams around the league take calls on potential deals that could be made. The Dallas Mavericks have been linked to Toronto Raptors' Pascal Siakam, Portland Trail Blazers' Jerami Grant and others, but what if their power forward upgrade came from the Golden State Warriors?

According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, the Warriors could be close to blowing up the core that helped them win four championships in an eight-year span. Aside from Steph Curry, it appears that any Warriors player could be had in a trade before the Feb. 8 deadline.

"The mindset in Golden State right now is everyone but Steph Curry is on the table," Charania said.

Why could this be significant, you ask? One month ago, the Mavs were pegged as being the betting odds favorite to land Draymond Green if the Warriors decide to trade him. Obviously, bettings odds aren't always accurate, but it's still something to keep in mind as we get closer to the deadline.

Although Green is 33 years old, has been suspended twice this season, and will make a combined $76.6 million for the next three seasons after this one, his versatile skillset and toughness are things the Mavs could really benefit from in order to make the jump from being just a fun potential playoff team to an actual contender.

Draymond to Mavs? Dallas Betting Favorites in Trade

Trading for Green wouldn't come without risks, as his best years are probably behind him and there's no guarantee his on-court antics won't continue. Because of that, Dallas probably wouldn't want to give up too much for the four-time NBA champion, assuming they'd even want him at all.

Another thing to consider is that Green has good relationships with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, which could have an influence if Dallas is a real option for him. Many things could happen between now and Feb. 8, but the Mavs and Warriors will certainly be teams to keep an eye on.
