Weeks before being traded to the Phoenix Suns, then Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant suffered an MCL sprain that sidelined him for the foreseeable future. Unable to participate in the All-Star Game due to this injury, Durant did make himself available to the media in Salt Lake City, Utah. Speaking on a multitude of topics, Durant also address his current injury situation.

While Durant admitted that he does not know exactly when he will return, he added that his knee feels solid, saying, "I don't know. My knee feels solid, though. I've got a couple more days before games and stuff, so I'm just going to try to figure it out with the training staff and see what the best option is."

It is certainly great news that Durant is feeling better, and while he has no official timetable for his return, it should not be too far down the line. The Phoenix Suns cannot wait to have their new superstar in the mix, as he projects to elevate them into the top tier of championship contenders.

The Brooklyn Nets got a solid return in exchange for their franchise star, as they also begin a new era with Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson. Both sides are happy with their new teams, and this should be a fun last two months of the season.
