Valencia Andrews is an aspiring herbalist who launched a GoFundMe fundraiser to help support Valencia's Herb Farm Start-Up. Andrews, whose location is based in Springfield Massachusetts, set her goal of $8,600 to help cover the medicinal herb farm start-up, supply costs for the upcoming season, and more.

Last week, she woke up to a surprise donation from Kyrie Irving. The Nets point guard donated a whopping $22,000. It was a massive donation Andrews didn't see coming. The aspiring herbalist stated that Irving did not leave a comment on his donation.

"I didn't see it coming, I had no idea how he even landed on my page," Andrews said on Irving's donation. "But I'm glad that I took the time to write out my GoFundMe in the way that I did so people know exactly where every dollar is going to. You know people like transparency."

The superstar point guard is no stranger to helping individuals and families in need through GoFundMe fundraisers. Irving's total donations were nearing $500,000 in December 2022. Similar to his heartwarming donation to Andrews, the guard usually does not leave a comment on his other donations.

Andrews, who began the Valencia's Herb Farm Start-up on Jan. 22, is also raising money for her apprenticeship with New York-based Master Herbalist Empress Karen Rose. According to the GoFundMe description, the costs total $7,000.

In her GoFundMe fundraiser, she thoroughly detailed the steps she has taken towards her goals, along with her short and long-term visions for the medicinal herb farm. In addition, Andrews bullet-pointed all foreseeable expenses for the new farming business.

At the time of this writing, the 'Support Valencia's Herb Farm Start-Up' has raised $24,315 through a total of 30 donors.
