Last Minute Update to Brooklyn Nets vs Los Angeles Lakers Injury Report
The Brooklyn Nets have suddenly changed their injury report and it's news that Nets fans won't be happy about. Two players have been downgraded from questionable to out - Ben Simmons and T.J. Warren.
The Nets' current injury report now lists the following players as out: Ben Simmons is out with left knee soreness, T.J. Warren is out with a left shin contusion, Kevin Durant is out with a right knee MCL sprain, Dru Smith is out on a G League two-way, David Duke Jr. is out on a G League two-way, and Kessler Edwards is out on a G League assignment.
The Los Angeles Lakers have their own share of injuries they're dealing with in tonight's marquee matchup. LeBron James is out with left ankle soreness, Anthony Davis is out with a right foot stress injury, and Austin Reaves is out with a left hamstring strain. Scotty Pippen Jr. and Cole Swider are both out on G League two-ways. Fortunately for the Lakers, Lonnie Walker has been upgraded to probable.
If fans were looking to see a marquee matchup of LeBron James and Anthony Davis vs Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, they'll, unfortunately, be disappointed. Instead, they'll be getting Kyrie Irving vs Russell Westbrook, in a matchup that's definitely been very fun in years past.
The Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers tip off at 7:30 PM ET.
