The Nets came up short in a nail-biting 120-124 loss to the Warriors, with Stephen Curry's spectacular performance being the driving force. The two-time MVP dazzled with 37 points, sinking six three-pointers to secure a crucial win for Golden State.

Steph gave the Nets all kinds of problems as he was hitting from all parts of the court. Aside from his contributions on offense, Steph was also superb with his defense, blocking three shots.

Mikal Bridges, among others, couldn't help but shower praise on Curry's outstanding performance.

"It's who he is. He's gonna be an all-time great. It's tough when you're playing against him; it's great when you're watching it from TV," Mikal said in an interview after the game.

A classic Steph game is humbling for the Nets

It's fair to say that Steph dominating a game can be humbling for the opponents. He is one of the greatest players of all time, and having a stellar game like that should be expected from him. However, it did show that the Nets are still having trouble defending high-scoring guards.

In the previous matchups, Dennis Smith Jr. was assigned to handle players like Trae Young, but in this game, DSJ was sidelined due to an upper back injury.

Steph wasted no time seizing the opportunity, securing the win by skillfully maneuvering around the Nets' defenders. Whether faced with Cameron Thomas or Nic Claxton, both players gave their all, but Steph's offensive brilliance proved unmatched.

The Nets have work to do on perimeter defense

Curry's brilliance serves as a wake-up call for the Nets. Mikal can't defend every elite perimeter star without exhaustion, highlighting the need for DSJ and Ben Simmons to bolster the team's defense against perimeter threats.

At the moment, coach Jacque Vaughn has work to do with their defense, as they can't let this happen again. Mikal made a good point about Chef's greatness, but Brooklyn should not accept that in the future.
