Nets to give next recovery update around Day'Ron Sharpe following three-game road trek landing

In this story:
Brooklyn Nets fans have been keeping their patience intact regarding Day'Ron Sharpe’s recovery.
Sunday marked the official mark of the two-week timeline that the team set when he sustained a hyperextended left knee last Jan. 7 against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Day'Ron's recovery update is set to be delivered soon as Nets lands home
Following their weekend battle against the L.A. Clippers, head coach Jacque Vaughn made it clear that the next update about the big man would soon finally come once they landed home after their three-game road swing.
Other than the big man's reliable production as a backup enforcer, Vaughn acknowledged that the entire team does miss Day'Ron's presence and vibes.
“We miss Day’Ron; I told that to our group the other day,” Vaughn said. “Miss hearing him on the bus, miss hearing him in the locker room. So look forward to seeing the big fella when we get back home.”
Sharpe's inactivity inflicted a huge hole in the Nets’ hopes
Day'Ron's untimely absence just put the Nets in a much more difficult position as they continue enduring their most challenging stretch of the season.
The center’s inactivity can only leave a painful void for Brooklyn as they proceeded to lose four of their next five games without him. The Nets were forced to apply Dorian Finney-Smith as their small ball five and even gave Harry Giles III some playing reps in the middle.
For now, all can only cross their fingers that the upcoming update on Sharpe will be positive, as his 7.5 points and 7.0 boards per game averages this year are truly important.
