The Los Angeles Lakers are set to face the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night, and star big man Anthony Davis is being listed as probable with bilateral achilles tendinopathy.

With both Davis and LeBron James, the Lakers regularly list their star duo on the injury report, even if they are expected to play. A probable listing makes it even more likely that Davis will play, but he is still listed on the injury report for this game.

While injuries have been an issue for Davis throughout his career, the Lakers star has been very durable this season. Having missed just four games all season, Davis has been in the lineup for the Lakers almost every single night, which has really helped them stay in the race for a playoff spot.

The Lakers enter this game as the 10th seed in the Western Conference, but they have been going back-and-forth with the Golden State Warriors from 9th to 10th. Each game is vital for the Lakers, as they certainly would like to climb to the top of the play-in tournament bracket, or at a minimum finish above 10th so they can have home court advantage in that win or go home scenario.

A lot is on the line for the Lakers each night, and that will not change for this game against the defending champion Nuggets.
