Bruce Brown Shares Heartwarming Message for Nuggets
Bruce Brown may not have been with the Denver Nuggets during their ring ceremony, but he was there in spirit. Even while in Indiana, Brown will always support his former teammates on the Denver Nuggets.
During yesterday's game against the Washington Wizards, Bruce Brown was asked for his thoughts about the Denver Nuggets' ring ceremony and he gave a very heartwarming response.
"It was great," Brown said. "Those are my guys for life. I love those guys. We had great chemistry. I'm happy for them, I was cheering for them to get the win against the Lakers after all the back and forth. I can't wait to see them in January and get mine."
Brown was absolutely stellar during his debut with the Indiana Pacers. He put up 24 points on 72/75/100 shooting and was a +15 in a game that the Pacers won by 23 points. While the Denver Nuggets will certainly miss Bruce Brown this season and will have to rely on their younger players, the team got the job done against the Los Angeles Lakers on opening night. If what the Nuggets did to the Lakers was an example of what this team is capable of, then Denver is still going to be a terrifying team to face in the NBA.
The Denver Nuggets won't be reuniting with Bruce Brown until January 14 when they face off, but until then, Brown will be rooting for his former team from afar.
