While all of the attention over the last few days has been on NBA free agency and trade rumors, Summer League rosters are starting to get announced, and the Denver Nuggets are one of the latest teams to announce theirs:

Summer League is always a great opportunity for young players to develop while also showing teams what they're capable of. While Denver is not a team that will be looking to add many Summer League players into the rotation on their big club, it is a great way to see what the organization's depth is looking like.

Hosted in Las Vegas, Summer League has become a bigger event every single year. With stars like Victor Wembanyama expected to headline this year's competition, the Summer League action should be even more exciting than ever.

As the defending champions, Denver has a strong sense of who will be in their rotation next season, but as previously mentioned, Summer League is still a great opportunity to evaluate young talent. A lot can change throughout the course of an NBA season, and having reliable depth throughout an organization can really help a team get through that grind.

Summer League is about one week away, and it will feature a competitive tournament-style bracket that eventually results in one team being crowned champions. This adds a fun level of competition to what are ultimately exhibition games.
