Nuggets' head coach Mike Malone said he wanted to run it back next season, and it looks like the Denver Nuggets are making their best attempt at just that. Although the Nuggets lost a huge player in Bruce Brown, they've re-signed two of their veteran players, Reggie Jackson and DeAndre Jordan.

According to a report from Chris Haynes, DeAndre Jordan has re-signed with the Denver Nuggets. Additionally, according to a report from Shams Charania, Reggie Jackson has re-signed with Denver Nuggets for a two-year, $10.25 million deal. The second year of the deal also has a player option. It's a pretty high contract for Jackson, considering he seldom received playing time last season. However, with Bruce Brown's departure, it leaves a huge hole for Jackson to try filling.

Last season with the Denver Nuggets, Jackson averaged 7.9 points and 3.1 assists on 38/28/83 shooting in 16 games. In the same season with the Clippers, Jackson averaged 10.9 points and 3.5 assists on 42/35/92 shooting. Reggie Jackson will need to channel some of what he had with the LA Clippers for the Denver Nuggets this upcoming season. If not, then expect Christian Braun to get even more minutes.

The biggest thing for the Nuggets is the health of Nikola Jokic, Jamal Muray, and Aaron Gordon. If those three can remain healthy next season, then the Denver Nuggets will easily be with the first seed again.
