Listed as questionable on the initial injury report, Devin Booker has been downgraded to out for Friday night's game vs. the Denver Nuggets. The absence of Booker now leaves the Phoenix Suns without two of their big three, as Bradley Beal also remains out.

This is disappointing not only for Phoenix, but NBA fans in general, as many see this game as a possible Western Conference Finals preview. Nationally televised on ESPN, this game between two Western Conference powerhouses is now down some serious star power.

While the absences of Booker and Beal are disappointing, the Nikola Jokic vs. Kevin Durant matchup should be a very fun one. Two of the very best players in basketball, Jokic and Durant faced off in last year's Western Conference Semi-Finals series between Phoenix and Denver, which Jokic and the Nuggets won. As previously mentioned, many predict another late playoff series between these two teams this season, as Denver is the defending champions, and Phoenix added even more star power over the summer.

This matchup will not be indicative of what a possible playoff series would look, as Phoenix is of course down two of their top three players, but it should be a fun battle between two teams that expect to win every night regardless of who is available. Denver and Phoenix will tip-off at 7:00 PM PST.
