The Cleveland Cavaliers are hosting the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night, but they will not have star guard Donovan Mitchell. The Cavaliers have released their injury report for this game, and Mitchell has been ruled out with a right hamstring strain.

This is a big loss for Cleveland, who is just 6-6 to start the year. Having struggled a bit through their first 12 games, the Cavaliers are looking to get back on track, but that's of course much harder to do without their star guard.

Up against the defending champions in this one, Cleveland will have their work cut out for them. Nikola Jokic is a tough cover for any team, and while the Cavaliers have some big bodies to throw at him, the reigning Finals MVP has been unstoppable to start the season.

At 9-3, the Nuggets are tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the best record in the Western Conference. With one of their three losses coming to the Timberwolves, Denver does not have that tiebreaker right now, meaning they are currently the second seed. That said, this season series is far from over, and those head to head matchups will be important the rest of the way.

While Cleveland is not on Denver's level, especially without their best player, the Nuggets cannot overlook this opponent on Sunday night.
