Draymond Green's Status vs. Nuggets Revealed
With Draymond Green's suspension from the NBA being indefinite, there is no way to know when he will be back. The Golden State Warriors have released their injury report for Thursday night's game vs. the Denver Nuggets, and Green has again been ruled out due to his suspension.
Steve Kerr was asked about Green before Golden State's last game, and said the two sides have been giving each other space, and there have not been any team practices with Green since his suspension. This makes it seem as if it will be a little while before the Warriors forward is able to return.
As it pertains to this game between Denver and Golden State, Green's absence is significant. While there is no answer for Nikola Jokic, Green is the type of defensive specialist who welcomes that assignment, which gives the Warriors one less option on the reigning Finals MVP.
The Warriors are trying to climb their way back into the playoff picture, while Denver is trying to make their way back to the top of the conference. There are a lot of games to go this season, so a lot can change, but as of right now Denver looks like a serious contender to repeat their title, while Golden State looks far from a contender.
The Warriors and Nuggets will begin at 10:00 PM EST on Thursday.
