Appearing on a recent episode of Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe, former Los Angeles Lakers forward Trevor Ariza was asked if Chris Paul can win a championship with the Golden State Warriors. Teammates with Paul on the Houston Rockets, Ariza has history with the veteran point guard, but doesn't think he can win a championship this season with the Denver Nuggets in the way.

"No," Ariza said when asked if Paul can win a title with the Warriors. "Can't nobody f-ck with Denver in the West, to me. Especially right now. Denver, the way that they move the ball, Jokic being on their team, coach Malone, Jamal [Murray]. Their team is just like that."

This was a strong statement from Ariza, who thinks nobody in the Western Conference has what it takes to dethrone the Nuggets. While some believe the Phoenix Suns have a chance if healthy, they're a team that needs to prove themselves before being considered a real threat to dethrone Denver. As for Golden State, they of course have championship DNA, but they have looked far from that 2022 title team for a while now.

For Denver, they are the favorites most places, and it's understandable why. With the consensus best player in the league, the Nuggets also have the supporting cast around Nikola Jokic to help him thrive even more.
