During a recent episode of No Chill With Gilbert Arenas, former NBA star Gilbert Arenas was asked if the Milwaukee Bucks have overtaken the Denver Nuggets as the championship favorites.

"Yeah," Arenas answered. "Because the two positions that the Nuggets have and the Bucks have are the same position. The two stars on both teams are head to head. When it comes to Giannis vs. Jokic, you're talking about a very close matchup... Dame vs. Murray, that's a big difference. You're talking 19-20 [PPG] vs. 30 [PPG]. That's a big difference... From there, it's who has the best role players?"

Arenas added that Khris Middleton is  a better third option than Michael Porter Jr., which could also be a difference make in a potential NBA Finals series. While the former NBA All-Star admitted this would be a great matchup, he is giving the edge to the Bucks after their trade acquisition of Damian Lillard.

"So it's gonna be good, but I will give it to the Bucks. I think they have a little bit more in that starting unit than Denver," Arenas said.

While so much can change between now and the NBA Finals, Denver vs. Milwaukee feels like a safe bet at this point. From there, it would be a battle of the stars between Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, and Jamal Murray.
