Having been traded from the Denver Nuggets to the Los Angeles Lakers at last year's trade deadline, 2017 second round draft pick Davon Reed will be receiving a championship ring. Reed confirmed in a recent Prometey Basketball Club article that his former teammates asked him for his ring size right after winning the championship.

Question: "You started the last season in Denver. Did you spoke to anyone from Nuggets after the championship ended? Do you know if they are going to send you a championship ring, as you were a part of the winning team?"

Reed: "Yeah, as soon as they won finals, we talked on FaceTime with Bruce Brown, Jamal Murray, DeAndre Jordan and Jeff Green. Everybody was happy, celebrating and they were calling me on FaceTime while they were celebrating in the locker-room. It was so great to see them and celebrate with them. And yes, they asked me for my ring size. De Andre Jordan even asked, if I had left the team, could I get the ring. I told him to hold the ring until I get another two available."

This was a really cool story that Reed revealed, as his former teammates made sure to include him during their celebration. Having played 83 games for the Nuggets from 2021-2023, Reed created some strong relationships there, and will be receiving a ring.
