While Nikola Jokic is very reserved, and seemed borderline uninterested in celebrating his first NBA Championship, former Denver Nuggets guard Bruce Brown revealed an incredible story about partying with the Finals MVP.

"Bro he had me drinking some Serbian whiskey. We was taking shots," Brown said. "My goal all night was to get him drunk, right? And he just flipped the script. But he’s a bigger body and I wasn’t even thinking that. And we was taking shots of some Serbian whiskey, and I was finished bro. I learned my lesson. He's different, never again."

These are the type of stories fans love to hear, because with Jokic not on social media, and essentially disappearing during the offseason, there is no real insight into his summer activities. While there is certainly nothing wrong with this, it is fun to hear about the Finals MVP enjoying his major accomplishment from one of the players he was celebrating with.

After winning the title, and partying with Jokic, Brown accepted a contract offer from the Indiana Pacers. This is a major loss for Denver, who was very reliant on Brown and his versatility, but it's something they had been bracing for. Limited in what they could offer the versatile guard, the Nuggets knew there was a chance he would leave for a bigger deal, which is what happened.
