The Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves face off in a heavyweight battle where the winner will have sole control of the second seed, and be in a position to take the first seed.

The Nuggets have only two players listed on their injury report: Vlatko Cancar and Zeke Nnaji. Vlatko Cancar is out due to left knee surgery and Zeke Nnaji is questionable with lower back pain. Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and the Denver Nuggets' starting five lineup will be available against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Fresh off of a very heartbreaking loss against the Dallas Mavericks, the Nuggets should have some extra juice in their legs tonight versus the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have 5 players listed on their injury report: Anthony Edwards, Rudy Gobert, Karl-Anthony Towns, Naz Reid, and Jaylen Clark. Anthony Edwards is questionable with a left middle finger dislocation/sprain, Rudy Gobert is questionable with a left rib sprain, Karl-Anthony Towns is out with a left meniscus tear, Naz Reid is questionable with a head injury, and Jaylen Clark is out with right Achilles tendon rupture rehab.

As it stands, the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves are both tied with an identical record of 47-21. The two teams have only faced off one time so far this season, with the Wolves currently leading the series 1-0. There are two more games to be played against each other after tonight, so the winner won't have sole possession over the tiebreaker.

The Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves face off at 9:00 p.m. EST tonight.
