Injury Report: Denver Nuggets vs Utah Jazz
The Denver Nuggets face off against the Utah Jazz tonight, but there are multiple All-Stars listed on the injury report.
The Nuggets have two names listed on the injury report: Nikola Jokic and Vlatko Cancar. Nikola Jokic is probable with a right arm contusion and Vlatko Cancar is out with left knee surgery. If Jokic plays, then the Nuggets will have their entire starting five lineup available to play against the Jazz.
The Utah Jazz have six players listed on their injury report: Lauri Markkanen, Taylor Hendricks, Walker Kessler, Otto Porter Jr., Michah Potter, and Jason Preston. Lauri Markkanen is out with a right quadriceps contusion, Taylor Hendricks is out with a left 1st MTP sprain, Walker Kessler is questionable with a right foot sprain, Otto Porter Jr. is out because he's not with the team, Micah Potter is out due to a G League two way, and Jason Preston is out due to a G League two way.
If the Denver Nuggets pull off a win against the shorthanded Utah Jazz tonight, then they'll be tied in the win column with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Minnesota Timberwolves. It'll also keep Denver within half a game of the first seed. The race for the first seed is incredibly tight, and Denver can't afford to drop games like tonight if they want the position.
The Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz face off at 10:00 p.m. EST tonight.
