The Denver Nuggets face off for the first time against the Atlanta Hawks this season, with both teams in the middle of a December struggle.

The Nuggets have five players listed on their injury report: Vlatko Cancar, Collin Gillespie, Jay Huff, Braxton Key, and Jamal Murray. Vlatko Cancar is out due to left knee surgery, Collin Gillespie is out due to a G League two-way, Jay Huff is out due to a G League two-way, Braxton Key is out due to a G League two-way, and Jamal Murray is probable with a right ankle sprain. Nikola Jokic is listed as available tonight.

The Atlanta Hawks have six players listed on their injury report: Kobe Bufkin, Mouhamed Gueye, De'Andre Hunter, Jalen Johnson, Seth Lundy, and Miles Norris. Kobe Bufkin is out due to a left thumb fracture, Mouhamed Gueye is out due to a right lower back stress fracture, De'Andre Hunter is questionable due to right quad tendon soreness, Jalen Johnson is out due to a left distal radius fracture, Seth Lundy is out due to a G League two-way, and Miles Norris is out due to a G League two-way.

Both the Denver Nuggets and Atlanta Hawks are in the middle of a three-game losing streak. Both teams could very much use a win right now, but only one team has a two-time MVP available to play. That being said, this is a game the Nuggets should win.

The Denver Nuggets face off against the Atlanta Hawks tonight at 7:30 p.m. EST.
