The Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets face off tonight in what should be a very fast-paced and exciting game between two offensive teams. Unfortunately, the Nuggets will still be missing the services of Jamal Murray tonight.
The Nuggets have four players listed on their injury report: Vlatko Cancar, Jay Huff, Jamal Murray, and Hunter Tyson. Vlatko Cancar is out due to left knee surgery, Jay Huff is out due to a G League two-way, Jamal Murray is out due to a right hamstring strain, and Hunter Tyson is out due to a G League assignment. In terms of actual injuries, the Nuggets only have two players listed with injuries. Fortunately, Nikola Jokic and the rest of the starting lineup are available.
The Houston Rockets have five players listed on their injury report: Nate Hinton, Victor Oladipo, Jermaine Samuels Jr., Amen Thompson, and Cam Whitmore. Nate Hinton is out due to a G League two-way, Victor Oladipo is out due to a left patellar tendon repairment injury, Jermaine Samuels Jr. is out due to a G League two-way, Amen Thompson is out due to a right ankle sprain, and Cam Whitmore is out on a G League assignment. The Rockets only have two actual injured players on the report.
The Rockets have been a surprise team in this early season, so this is definitely a game the Nuggets have to be prepared for. The two teams face off at 7:00 p.m. EST.
