Injury Report: Denver Nuggets vs Memphis Grizzlies
The Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies face off tonight in a game in which the Nuggets should have a clear advantage. Friday night's game will be the second game of the season for both teams, but Memphis will be missing a mid-season amount of players.
The Nuggets only have two players listed on their injury report: Vlatko Cancar and Jay Huff. Cancar is out due to left knee surgery and Jay Huff is out due to a right knee PCL strain. Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, and the entire Nuggets starting lineup should be available tonight.
The Memphis Grizzlies have a whole laundry list of injuries against the Nuggets, the team has five players listed on the injury report. Steven Adams is out due to a right knee PCL sprain, Santi Aldama is out due to a right ankle sprain, Brandon Clarke is out due to left Achilles tendon repair, Luke Kennard is out due to concussion protocol, and Ja Morant is out due to a league suspension.
Tonight is a game that the Denver Nuggets should very clearly win. They have a significant advantage against the Memphis Grizzlies, are the defending champions, and this is the type of game that shows they can handle business. Denver should expect Memphis to put up a fight, but there's no reason for Denver to lose this.
The Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies tipoff at 7:00 p.m. EST.
