Injury Report: Denver Nuggets vs New Orleans Pelicans

The Denver Nuggets will be missing a very important player.

The Denver Nuggets will be playing their first full game of the season without Jamal Murray tonight. Luckily for the Nuggets, the New Orleans Pelicans will also be shorthanded tonight.

The Nuggets have only two players listed on their injury report: Jamal Murray and Vlatko Cancar. Jamal Murray is out with a right hamstring strain injury that he suffered on Friday, and Vlatko Cancaris out due to a left knee surgery. Denver still has all of their starting lineup besides Jamal Murray available, and that should be enough to handle the Pelicans.

The New Orleans Pelicans have four players listed on their injury report: Jose Alvarado, Naji Marshall, CJ McCollum, and Trey Murphy III. Jose Alvarado is out with a right ankle sprain, Naji Marshall is out with a right knee contusion, CJ McCollum is out with a small pneumothorax in his right lung (collapsed lung), and Trey Murphy III is out with a partial meniscectomy in his left knee.

Tonight will be the first test of just how much depth the Denver Nuggets have. While the team has always looked spectacular when their full starting lineup is available, we haven't seen how they looked when Murray or Jokic were out since before the NBA Playoffs. If Denver can pull out a win tonight, then it'll show just how good their starting lineup truly is.

The Denver Nuggets and New Orleans Pelicans face off tonight at 9:00 p.m. EST.
